  • Supervisory skills including monitoring technicians, site compliance, and non-conformance reporting.
  • Advanced hazard identification and theory covering IRATA TACS, ICOP, legislation, and system design.

Course Duration & Assessment

  • Training: 4–5 days (minimum 30 hours).
  • Assessment: 1 day with an independent IRATA International Assessor.
  • Total duration: 5–6 days.
  • Re-sit allowed within 60 days if the assessment is failed.

Certification

  • Certificate validity: 3 years from the date of assessment.
  • Level 3 supervisors may be eligible to apply for IRATA Rope Access Safety Supervisor (RASS) status.
  • A Level 3 supervisor must be present on site for all IRATA rope access operations.

Revalidation must be completed before the 3-year expiry date through refresher training and reassessment at an IRATA-approved centre.
